One of the biggest excuses I hear from women is that eating lean is far too expensive. I’m in college. I’m a single mom. It’s the recession is really bad. I don’t have a job. How can I afford to eat healthy and get lean on a low budget?

The fact of the matter is you can get a dollar for a cheese burger at McDonald’s but you can’t get healthy organic food for cheap. But i’m going to prove to you that you can eat healthy and get lean on a low budget if you will follow the tips below.

I really think that no matter what your income you deserve to have healthy food and deserve to have the lean body you always wanted.

Let me set you straight that you can do this. I have been going to the supermarket for the past 2 years now and almost always I kept a budget for $35-$40 a week.

Obviously, these aren’t going to be organic, but if you are on a very low budget (eg. a pension) and you can’t afford organic then by all means go for the non organic. You can soak it in some vinegar and water for about 10-15 minutes before you eat it.

Most importantly we have to make sacrifices somewhere so me personally, I would take a shopping spree of whole foods any day over a shopping spree at the local supermarket.

When we get down to the bare bones of the issue it’s so much about asking yourself do you really want to eat healthy and get lean on a low budget?

Do you really want it bad enough?

If you want something bad enough there is not an excuse in the world that’s going to make you change your mind about what you want and where your headed.

Just set your mind on the fact that you are going to eat healthy.

It may note the best tasting food or it might not even be the best quality food but it’s going to be better quality than the average junk that most Americans eat.

I know it doesn’t feel like it right but the moment you start to eat healthy on a low budget, your actually a benefit towards getting lean.

The reason is your not going to be able to overeat because you have to budget your food and you have to create a very specific meal plan before you do your grocery shopping.
